Today we woke up early as Hana last night (with some help from some
Mojitos) arranged to meet the waitress from the restraunt we were in so she can show Hana where she gets her nails done. This was an experience as we walked through a locals market to a small stall where she gets her nails done - this market was amazing as it was all partially covered with narrow pathways which winded between various stalls (hairdressers, seamstresses, nails places, veg shops, fresh fish stalls, massages and pretty much everything between). Unfortunately it wasn't open until 9am and we were there at 7. So she had to go to work but pointed us in the direction of river - here we grabbed a drink, had a walk along the river and got some breakfast. After this we headed back into the market which was now at full flow and packed, this made it a but difficult to find our way back to the nail stall. After walking pass many stalls with chickens with legs, fish that were still flapping around and the stench of the fish being de-scaled, gutted and prepared - breakfast wasn't sitting too well and we decided to make our way back to the room. This afternoon we headed over to the central market which was similar to the market this morning, just twice as big. I've never seen a market so large that sells such a variety of things. After buying some random stuff we headed over to a travel company to sort our Vietnamese visa - we are now all sorted for our trip to Bangkok for Songkran and then onward to vietnam. We decided to have a few drinks tonight as we could only get the night bus for tomorrow. A few too many Mojitos again and we were off to bed!
