Arrived at 5 am, at an out of town bus station... so we walked through the dock area (the armpit) of Rio until we found civilisation. Huge town, 27 deg at 7:30 am.Our bags are heavier than we thought, especially after a 4 km walk to town! Walked along Ipamema and Cococabana beaches and saw the bronzed bodies beautiful. What a lot of poseurs! :o) The quest to transfer our pictures to the UK continues, but we think we have a back up plan. Started on the tourist trail this morning to see Jesus, but he was surrounded in fog, so we waited, and we waited , and we waited.. but the clouds were not going to clear for us, as it was $12 US we will not be returning on this trip. May be next time.. Now off to the South .....Waterfalls 3km wide and 90m high - what a shower! Love you all! Ben and Zoe xx
