Just here as a stop over on our way to Mendoza, but we have found a fab hostel to stay in when we return here in July to fly out.. looks like a cool city - will explore more in July.. Off to drink some vino in Mendoza Ciao for now Z & B xx

Well the picture doesn't really reflect the places - Temuco/ Chillan... well we tried them, but they just didn't work for us. We spent a grand total of about 18 hours in them, and thats including 2 x 7 hour bus journeys... so Santiago is the next stop, and then we think, probably Mendoza... nuff said..

Good to get back on to solid land after 4 days on a boat, sailing through the Chilean Fjords, seeing islands, mountains, snow caps and volcanoes!!! Next stop Pucon to visit an active Volcano!!! Catch up soon, zoe and ben xx

Pucon, what a place. Its a small town, with this great big, active volcano looking down on it. Loads to do here. We climbed the volcano, and smelt the sulpher at the top - like very strong eggs! Then the only way down was to slide down on our bums! Excellent fun. We did some walking, and some cycling, lay in natural hot springs at night, watching the moon, stars and planets - absoluletly bliss. Now we are heading north through Chile up to Santiago, then not...
