Wow. Quite a lot has happened since we last wrote. We have travelled through two countries for a start. The train journey has spanned 1946km and took about 45 hours in total. Okay, just had our most random experience in Thailand. Arrived at Surat Thani station at 8pm and had 4 hours to kill until our train leaves for Butterworth. Decided to go for a walk and get some food, but we got intercepted by a motorbike taxi man. After asking him for Macdonalds he asked us if we enjoyed "beer and sing song." We said yes and he said he would take us for 50 baht each there and back, we presumed to Macdonalds! How wrong we were... End...

Full moon party was utter madness! About 5,000 people packed Haad Rin beach, partying hard until the early hours - some lasted until the following afternoon! The resort we moved to 8 days ago was really great, and the staff were really nice. Had a really relaxing few days, though renting a scooter for a couple of days kept us entertained.
