Round the World with Ben and Lucy
Today we headed to the ´wild´ west out to Barrytown for a 1 night stop. We stopped at a few places along the way for photos (such as at the rugged Hawks Crag) before heading on to Punakaiki for its famous blowholes and Pancake Rocks in Paparoa National Park. This was classed as our "Cultural Stop" where we had a traditional Kiwi Roast dinner and our activity on this night was 'drinking' and 'dressing-up'. The rules were - the boys have to dress as girls and the girls as boys. I don't wish to elaborate much further on this night (see pictures) except to say pure unadulterated carnage was the result and there were many a sore head on the bus this morning en route to Franz Josef.
