After months of dreaming, planning and waiting we've finally finished work at The Chequers and will be on our way to Europe in just a few days! It hasn't really sunk in yet that we will be off soon, but once we collect the van we'll both get pretty excited.

We had our farewell drinks with Steve, Laura and some of the locals and we had a great time. It was really nice to have a drink with everyone out in the beer garden and say our goodbyes, everyone was really lovely, shouting us drinks and giving us little gifts to help us out on our trip. Poor Bek had way too much to drink (got to do the right thing and drink every drink you're given!) and spent the rest of the night glued to the loo, and now can't really remember saying goodbye to everyone, but still had a fab time all the same!

So now we're off to London to pick up our van, groove along to Ben Harper and Jack Johnson in Hyde Park on wednesday then of the catch a ferry to France!
