After an early start we made our way towards Lisbon.We arrived at our campsite just outside of Lisbon in the early afternoon. The campsite was swarming with people… they were all there to see the concert that was going on just down from the Discovery Monument. Funnily enough, Ben Harper was playing the next day and we actually saw the drummer from the Innocent Criminals walking down the main street of Lisbon. Once we'd settled into the campsite we caught the bus that was talking people to the concert down to the waterfront then got on the train to the main station in Lisbon. There is only one word that can really described Lisbon… HILLY! The whole city is just made up of hills. We caught the only vertical elevator in Lisbon which takes you from the lower street up to the higher one. It was built back in 1901 and was originally powered by steam but now by electricity. After walking the streets for hours we made our way back to the Discovery Monument.We then walked back to the bus stop and we heard John Butler playing at the concert that was mentioned earlier.
