Brussels, a place of relaxation, sigh, lovely. Really like this place! We sleep in till about 11, then drag ourselves out of bed to explore the area. Our hotel is in a good spot, 10min walk from the town squat, so cheaper, and far enough away, so that it feels like a real city. There are office blocs, and supermarkets, all things we haven't seen very much of in a while. The weather is a nice 28 degrees and we are feeling pretty hungry by the time we get to the stock exchange, where we go right to head to the square/palace ect. And when I say stock exchange, I mean the old one! A beautiful roman style building with columns, archways, and Greek god surrounding. We find a nice looking pub and order a scampi pasta for myself, and Troy gets a steak. Both really good, but we are tiered and full after eating so head back to the hotel for some more sleepings. My stomach starts playing up on the walk home, and it then that we remembered we didn't take our probiotics this morning! Oh no! Troy is fine, but I spend the rest of the afternoon ill and vomiting, not the nicest. Feeling a bit better we venture out again around 7 and find a nice Japanese place:) we have miso soup, tuna and salmon sashimi, and share a katsu pork and chicken noodles. Troy also gets some nice saki! Really enjoyable but I'm still feeling a bit queasy, so we go back to the hotel and I rest up for a more productive day tomorrow!!!
