Hi everyone!

After having another exhausting day n Singapore, checking out Sentosa Island and the views from the Merlion, we got our connecting flight to Brisbane and then on to Airlie Beach for some much needed rest.

Our hostel here is lovely, set in several cabins amongst a tropical setting with a pool and jacuzzi, we are well set!! We have a free breakfast here and shops just up the road, plus a free bus in to town where we get to hang out at the Airlie Beach Lagoon (which is away from jellyfish!).

We've managed to suss out the budget style living arrangements now......making a baguette out of kids ready made tuna and sweetcorn mix and a fruitini to go with it is perfect for lunch, followed by pasta for dinner!! true backpacker style!

Tomorrow we're off cruising the Whitsundays which should be awesome, and the weather is absolutely gorgeous and way over 35 degrees so bring out the factor 50 suncream!

We still haven't managed to load any photos yet but we're on it!! - keep checking out our blog and leave us some messages so we know how you're all coping without us! lol.
