Wesport, the ghost town! luckily we had a really nice hostel and everyone by now was friends which is really good. We made tea and went to get drinks. Taht evening there was a toothless local competition. Basically you had to get the best picture of a toothless local. I thought it was a bit of a joke but all the locals were toothless its was so funny. We were all pretty drunk and that it Westport.

The following morning as we left to Lake Mahinapua we sopped for a 45 minute coastal walk. Lovely in the rain, felt like we were hiking through the Yorkshire Moors, oh and wearing a maxi dress and flip flops is not classed as wlaking gear.

Later that afternoon we got to Punakaiki for lunch. Here were the pancake rocks so we did the walk to see those, basically just rocks that have layred in ways that no one can figure out how or why. The sun had started to shine which was a bonus. After there we stopped in Greymouth to get our goddies together for the POO PUB!
