QUEENSTOWN QUEENSTOWN QUEENSTOWN!!

The excitement has kicked in as we are finally here the final destination of the West Coast! So as we arrive our first stop was the Karawu Bungee bridge. The home home of the AJ Hacket Bungy. Basically the first bunge in the world. We went in and watched a video and even that made my mind up that I would never perfromr sucvh a riduclous act of throwing myself off a bridge. 90% of the bus however had other ideas. Sadly as we only had 2 nights there James didnt quite get the chance to do the Nevis so he did this one instead. The atomosphere was insane as he got ready and went on the bridge. It was such a good experience for him though as the whole bus were cheering and shouting as he was getting geered up. I on the other hand was a nervous shiking wreck. There are plenty of vidoes to see this. So 3.....2.......1...... JUMP!!! Off he went! HE LOVED IT! He got dunked in the water and everyone was cheering for him. I was so happy when he was pulled into the dingy, I could finally relax. He loved every second. A few other people from our bus did it including Josh and we just had a great time hanging out watching people bottle out (not that I can laugh stadning shaking watching people).

So next stop was into the town and donw to the lakeside for our group picture to celebrate our journey down the West Coast.

From there we checked into Nomads hostel, got ready and headed straight up the Gondoal to the Luge. Basically in Queesntown at the very top of the hill you can get a really really stepp gondoal to the top. Up there the viewa are just incredible. We all decided to do the luge, basicallt little go carts that go down the mountain. We had so much fun even though I came about 5 mins behind everyone each time but who cares. We went up with Lilly Bonnie, Mike and Becky and just had such a good time.

That night our bus was meeting fro drinks in Altitude bar. We had drinks in the hostel and headed out to get our stamp for cheap drinks. me and Lilly being the classy girls we are sacked this off and baught a bottle of cider and sat in the park with the American lads from our ice trip to save money before we headed in. By the time we got in the bar the party was well under way. We had free shots and all sorts of games to wine prizes. We ended up in world bar however The majority of us barely remeber this, saying that I remeber my HUGE piece of Badger Pizza, literally the biggest pizza you will ever see! yummy yum yum = )

So the next day while the girls were hungover in Bed, Lilly and Bonnie haead off to Milford sound and James went off to do his canyon swing. he left about 8am and woke up me, Rach, Becky and mIke when he came back. just with the look on his face you could tell how much he loved been thrown off a cliff attatched to a chair. So after his come down of adrenalin hunger hangover hunger hit all off us. And there was only one place to go FERGGGGGG BURRRGGGGERRRRR. Wowser the best burger in the world $11 of just pure heart attack but so worth it. For me this is my Kiwi highlight. From there me and James went for a walk around the town but it was pretty cold so we headed back for photo and blog uploading.

Before long 3 o clock came and it was time for jet boating. This is by far one of my favorite things we have done, you go stupidly fast in a little jet boat through the canyon almost going into rocks, cliff faces and doing 360 degree spins. Awesome fun.

Even though we were pretty tired it was soon time to head out again. This time we chaved it up a little and all took drinks to the park as you cant stay in the hostel before we headed to World bar for more drinks. This literally was the best 2 days of our whole trip.

The next morning safly we were the first to leave from our bus and it was awfull having to say good bye. We have met the most amazing group of friends and just to mention a few so we never forget.... Lilly and Bonnie, Becky and Mike, Tom and Luke, Fonola, Rachel, Manesha, Clare Ffion, Crystal, Gareth, Matha and Maria, All the canadians, Sam, Candice and Jade and the list could go on. But anyway in a sad and lonely depsair we headed for another Ferg burger before we jetted off to Wellington. Sure I have missed plenty here but Ill come back to it all later. North Island time
