The start of our adventure in Phuket has been a super amazing fun packed 3 days with tasty food! It feels like we have been here ages we've done that much!! First stop was Patong beach to soak up some rays and enjoy a manicure off a local Thai girl on the beach. Then we got blagged off some English guy from Cheshire to go on sunset booze cruise that according to him was the best boat party on the planet! I'll be the judge of that! Haha... The catamaran was blasting house music & some pretty good tunes, teamed with a free bar equaled a pretty good afternoon/ night. We made the most of the free bar drinking cocktails, made friends with two awesome Australian girls and danced our arses off!!! Once the party had finished we got taken to a shopping circle for a taxi (as none were available at the pier unlike the likely lads had promised) and 2 random guys jumped off to get beer for the ride and the taxi left them!!! Hahahahaha... 600 baht taxi home for you two!!
The next day we headed off on a full day trip to Phang Nga which included meeting monkeys, quad biking, white water rafting, elephant trekking and seeing some nice waterfalls and pools. We had a brill time, especially on the river rafting!! That was major fun and I'll definitely be doing that again!! I want bigger rapids! The elephant ride was ok but I felt mean on them.. They had chains around their feet and had to trek up hills with 3 of us on their back plus our guide was a pervy little Thai lad! Not cool!!
Our last day in Phuket was fun, messy and a Tiger filled day!! After we had been to the Tiger Kingdom to stroke huge furry tigers, which was nerve racking but super awesome and unreal at the same time, we met the one and only Jamie HB. That led to lots of drinking! We ordered a 3 litre waterfall of Tiger lager which meant we had our own beer on tap on our table in the restaurant which was ace! After food we headed down Bangla Road to the Tiger bar which was like Ibiza, Blackpool illuminations and Thailand all rolled into one! Buzzing!!! I sat in aw most of the night drinking cocktails and downing jäger bombs watching gorgeous Thai girls dance up, down and around a pole like it was the easiest thing in the world! I can't believe what twisting, leg spreading, spinning moves they pulled off! One guy even showered them in notes! Most definitely the best pole dancers I have ever seen. Gutted we had to leave just after midnight as we were up the following morning at 6... I was pretty hammered tho so it's a good job we did!! Patong you was amazing!!
So currently we are on the ferry and next stop is Christmas on Ko Phi Phi..
