Today was the last day of my homestay. I really did not want to leave my host family. It was a fun day though. We got up, got to help make breakfast, ate a lot, then headed out to do some more shopping. I thought the shopping of the first day was crazy, this place Prabha took us to was insane. It was like 7 floors of just everything. It had a full floor of just shoes, and I included a picture of that. We just shopped for hours. It was so much fun. Then we came back to the apartment, ate some more food, met up with Neeru, and chatted some more, and then we had to get all of our stuff and headed back to the ship. Luckily, the families got to come on board with us and eat dinner. Compared to all of the food we had been eating, dinner was not very good at all. But it was nice to have one last meal with them. Srikanth had to leave on a business trip, so it was just Prabha, Neeru and Kushal. Since Neeru was just on the ship a few months ago, we had her show us around and tell us all about where she hung out and what she did. Prabha taught me how to tie a saree correctly, and I got it on video, so now I will definitely not forget. Then, one of the girls on the ship who plays piano played some songs and we all sang. It was a lot of fun. But then they had to go, and I seriously almost cried when they left. I had such an amazing time and I am still in disbelief just how hospitable and amazing the Bhandaris are. I miss them so much already. But, we exchanged e-mail addresses, and mailing addresses, and we are definitely going to keep in touch. Only one more day left in India. I miss it already.
