Well, today is Saturday, although since we have school it does not feel like it. I can't believe it is almost already April! This trip has gone by so fast! The day after tomorrow I will be in Malaysia! Well, I have a few reasons for posting this blog. One is to share that Me, Ally, and Hayley were in an Indian newspaper! (that is me in the shades in the back). It was all written in Tamil, so I have no clue what it says about us, but I took a picture of it and thought I would show it. It was so random this dude Greg from the ship was all 'hey, I saw your picture in the newspaper.' And I was like what?! I had no clue. It was awesome. It is us on the first day in our rickshaw. Good times. I also posted a picture of some of the bling I bought for myself there. I have no idea where I will wear that fancy jewelry, but it makes me feel like a Princess, and I will find someplace to wear it. Another reason is to update you on my last day in India. It was fun, a lot more low key. I went to a Working Women's Forum which was very informative and inspiring. Then I just came back to the ship, posted a few blogs and then met up with some people for one last shopping/eating trip in India. I definitely overate for dinner that night, but it was so worth it. I didn't get sick the whole time I was there either so it's all good. I was really sad to leave India, honestly I can't wait to go back. My host family said I have to anyways, so I can't let them down. Although, they seemed pretty excited to come to California one day so they can go to Disneyland. And, my final reason for writing this is that I needed a major break from all the stuff I have to do. It is almost 4 am and I still haven't even begun to study for an exam I have tomorrow, or I guess I should say in a few hours.... Tomorrow is going to be very hectic. I have class all day until 3:30, from there I have to go straight to deck 7 to teach my kickboxing class, after class I have just enough time to shower and practice real quick for leading worship at 6:00. Then at 6:45 is my intra-mural volleyball team's first game. I am very excited for that. We practiced tonight and it is a little odd to play on a rocking ship, but it will all be fun. Right after that we have to go to a mandatory meeting about Malaysia called 'Logistical Pre-port.' We have one of those the night before every port. So, I probably should be getting some sleep, but the internet is really fast at 4 am, so that is when I have to sign on. The whole time I am in Malaysia, I am doing a Semester At Sea trip to Borneo. We get to visit the world's largest orangutan rehabilitation center. I am so excited for that. I will be doing a lot of flying there so keep me in your prayers. And since I will be on a trip away from the ship, I most likely will not be able to post another blog until Thursday when I get back. But I am sure I will have some interesting stories to tell! And before I sign off, I just want to thank you all for reading my blogs and keeping track of me. It really means a lot to know that everybody back home is so into my journey. I will be seeing all of you so soon! And a quick side note to my brothers, Dana, Lorelai, Bre and Alisa, I better see all of you very soon, because I have a lot of gifts that I have bought for you, and I don't want to ship them. ;) You guys all rock, and Happy Palm Sunday!
