Traveling day to Milan by trains. I've decided i don't like trains in Italy. People told me they are very efficient and never run late. They were obviously not in Italy. These trains run late all the time and there are no markings where the carriage numbers are. Early start for our day trip to Switzerland. Got a taxi at 7am and headed to the meeting point of Foro Bounaparte. A 2 hour bus trip to tirano to catch the train and to our surprise we drove past lake como. It was gorgeous, got few pics out the window. Stopped for coffee and cake on the way. Today we have a day trip into Venice leaving at 8:30. Got the train, no hassles this time, first class for a one hour trip. Got off right in front of the canal. Wow! What a horrible day ... Woke up with a cold, my head felt like mush and and an irritating cough. Had to pack and leave Florence by train. We planned to see lake como but apparently it's difficult to get to from here and we are still tired and sick so change of plans we decided to do city bus tour.
