today we went to Parap market, a more expensive version of a Thai market, selling Thai clothes n other stuff. beki got some nice sandals though. there were loads of drunken 'abo's' there that were quite entertaining by literally just shouting n then holdin there hands out for money. one guy was good on the guitar though to be fair. beki got burnt and it wasnt even sunny lol we went back and had jacket potatoes with beans n cheese yum yum, steph n steves...

we got up stupidly early to get our plane from Perth. Our 2800km flight to Darwin (the 'Top End) was quite scary as there was a major burst of turbulence arrrgghhhh.... we went to 'Rotto' today (Rottnest Island) half an hour from Fremantle. after another night of treating the mossies to our succulent pommy flesh we got up early and caught the ferry. we arrived on the island and hired the cheapest bikes available, the ones with one gear! the first stop of our cycle tour round the island was a secluded beach, beki went snorkeling and saw an octopus and some coral. the next stop was our lunch break on yet another secluded...

after a boiling night of bein eatin to death by mossies we ventured out into town. Fremantle was voted Australia's prettiest town and rightly so its is really nice. As with Lincoln there is a nice of blend of old and new..we didnt actually doin anythin specfic today just shoppin (window) and browsing. no one has attitude here and it it so laid back its a refreshing change for a large town. the backapckers we are stayin, though rather cool, must be advertise...
