we woke up and packed our bags for the journey to perth. a friend of ken n sandy was headin down to perth area so he offered us a lift, which was very handy indeed. after a long journey( we left at 10.30am and arrived at 2ish) we arrived at Joondalup, here we got the train to 'freeo'. the backpackers here is really kule(beki isnt keen she says its messy?!?!) its an old building covered in graffiti n it has wikid music playin all day long n is quite soci...

today started badly when the rooster had an early start, 3am to be precise, this time it was not funny, especially after the hottest night ever. he carried on until 5.30-6ish, when we had to get up anyway as we planned to start work at 7am because of the heat. after 2 hours of hard work we came back n had brekkie. later in the day we went to visit some of Ken n Sandy's friends on another farm. we met a Mauri fella who could drink beer with the best of em'. ...

the rooster must have know the pommies were back as it woke us up at 5am with its constant (well over an hour) c*** a doodle doing' that sounded like a cross between a strangled duck and a duck vomitting! we headed out at 8.30 to continue our pruning project on the pine trees. a few golden orb spiders came to say hello. it got very very hot so ken let us finish at half 11ish. we had a very british lunch of meat pies before goin to to gorgeous jurien ...

today we left Kalbarri to travel back to our first WWOOF place (Ken and Sandys). journey took forever n we had to change buses at fly central, a stop off point where a million flies constantly surround you. we arrived at 4ish after leaving at 8.45am! it looks so much nearer on a map!n we had a welcome back barbie of sausages and chops yum! after this we chilled n watched Around the World in 80days with the family

today we got up early to have a gander at the dolphins again, beki got the chance to feed them. we had a nice lazy day around the pool in the glorious sunshine there was a huge storm in the evening, the start of cyclone emma, which was miles n miles away.. Monkey Mia 10/10
