and once again we are stuck in alice... another day of looking round the same shops walking the same streets ... yay! anyway on the brightside we got a $2 tour of the city form ther hostel with a beer included. then had a $5 meal. we met back up with steph and steve at bojangals where they had very wierd loos! The handals are on the wrong side and the tap handles turn on the wrong taps very confusing but funny if your drunk! we saw a big snake aswell... and beki...

still in the Alice.... because of the cyclone we cant get through to the east coast..... humph. stuck in alice. we phaffed around a bit and got some stuff sorted. nothing really happed. met back up with tom ( our first ever slovenian) as his flgiht was delayed. had a meal with the german couple matt and anika who were from our trip. they were really nice and we had a few drinks ( expensive rounds!!) then headed off 2 bed and watched the games and a funny fre...

we woke up at 5 this morning and set off towards uluru again to watch the sunrise which was spectacular. we got a group photo and a couple of us, and had brekkie as it rose higher. We then went back to the base and did the rest of the walk and a cultural walk which chris took us on. he told us all about the people and the initiation ceromonies and thier way of life. it was really enlightening the way he told it and very respectful and informed something which is ...

we went to the olgas today. we woke up with the sun and got our swag bags rolled, ate brekkie and left quickly. after a hour or so we arrived and started the valley of the winds walk which was spectacular. it took around 2 hours and the sights were fantastic ( see photos) we clamberd over rocks and looked over them from viewpoints. we reallly got talking with the group and it was fnatastic. Chris was energetic as ever telling us how it was formed and the geology....

the tour we did was with annies place ( it was wkd!!) we woke up this moring at 5.45 to make our way to the bus which left at 6.30. we all tiredly placed our stuff on the bus ( all 24 of us, a nice ecletic mix of cultures) and then set off. our guides name was Chris and he was wkd! had a really good selection of tunes blaring about. the first one was "come to australia... you'll get killed!) which was wkd. we then stopped off from our 6 hour trip into ...
