last night we arrived in monkey mia the home of the the famous wild dolphins. we got up early to see them (7am) and watched on the beach as they came within metres of our feet!! they were swimming in front of us. it was magical. there was around 7-9 dolphins and we got some pretty ace pictures. we lazed about on the beach for the morning and by the pool when it got hotter. we went snorkling with bekis new snorkel and in the evening a dolphin came close to beki...

we arrived here in the afternoon and checked into the hostel, which used to be a hospital. we soon noticed the hostel was full of American christians, they were everywhere! after tea we went shopping (as it was late night shopping night) and found that only 3 or 4 shops were open and the towns pub.\ as you can tell geraldton is relativley small..

today as it was 35degrees we decided to stay indoors again n give the cupboards a real 'good go', weworked til lunch then we went to Sandy Cape,another secluded beach. Ken and Sandra's friends Barry and Cheryl met us and we had a short trip in the 'ute' to the Point over some sand dunes n we had our tea at the beach watchin the sunset with an ice cold beer, life seemed perfect. then the fishin rods came out..this is where we found out we were proper 'city' peeps!...

today was boilin steve didnt feel too well in the mornin beki worked hard in the kitchen clearing out cupboards.steph got ringworm off the cat.it was 39degrees so we decided to do absolutely nothin...nice lazy day

Steve started the day out in the bush with Ken whilst beki started work cleaning the kitchen. we had our usual breaks then steve started to clear the veggie patch and beki kept pluggin away at the kitchen. loads of steph's friends came over so the house was full of life.
