Hello again!!! Very sorry about the lack of blogs...we are still alive and well just soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo busy!!!! Anyway, are currently in chiang mai, north of thailand is the last day of our tour...just wasting some time before the 13 hour train back to bangkok! Fun times! Anyway will have to update you on the tour when i'm back in bangkok but i survived yay!!!

So after we left phuket (v early morning :( ) we got a boat to krabi, took about 2 hours...v pretty scenery on the way. Was v amusing journey as 2 guys josh and damien-not there actual names....anyway they were on our flight from london and just happened to be on the same boat as us which was a bit of a scary coincidence! Not so sure they were happy to see us as we scared them at the airport after the stressful check in!! Had to jump off the boat half way out to sea and get on a longtail boat to the shore...we got on but they didnt put our bags on!! After a "slight" panic and much to J&D's amusment they were put on the next boat! Everything is just so laid back here its hard to get used to it!! Got to our accom, was gorgeous!!! We stayed in our own little bungalow in the rainforest(well almost) and had the pool to ourselves!!

Had four days in krabi...weather wasnt great for 2 days but mainly just spent our days sunbathing, swimming and pottering around. Beach not as nice here but resort seems more upmarket and wealthy than phuket! Had a food poisoning scare on first night so decided to go for a few drinks with the ladyboys/hookers...few cocktails later we decided to call it a night(not before nearly being eaten half to death by some crazy dogs!) Next morning we swore never to drink in thailand again...a hangover in this heat is not good!!! That was until last night...

Had to move accom after 2 nights...attemped walking to the otherside of the resort but ended up in a tuktuk...oh dear lord!! Was holding on so tight, theyre insane!!! Another lovely hotel with crazy staff!

Thai new year started whilst we were in krabi...we were caught completely unaware and got totally soaked and covered in white paste on our way to the beach!! They go absolutely crazy out here and party for days! But more about that another time....

Left Krabi on friday, flew back to bangkok. Everything went smoothly until we were in the taxi on the way to our hotel..thai new year was just mental! The streets were just packed, traffic could hardly move, water and paste all over the cars! A nightmare! Must have been driving around for nearly 2 hours trying too get to the hoitel, me and ro refusing to get out and walk in fear of our lives!!! Eventually the taxi driver got out and abandoned the taxi, half a hour later we hear this whistle...he'd only gone and got the porter(with his trolley) and a bloody security guard from our hotel to escort us through the madness to our hotel! It was the funniest/most embarrasing moment ever!! All these thai people were obviously just thinking wtf?!! He told us he'd protect us from all the crap...2 seconds later we were covered! If u cant beat them join them!! Finally made it to our hotel and checked in etc. Then went to join in the madness!

Will have to update you all on bangkok/north 2mo coz gona miss the train if i dont go now!
