G'day! First of all i would like to make it clear we have not joined a hippy colony, been eaten by sharks or been marooned on a desert island-with surfing skill like ours that would never happen!! We are just very busy!!!!!!!!!!!!! So i'm afraid i don't think you'll be getting allk that many blogs from now on :(

Anyhoo i'm going to update you quickly! On our last day in sydney we went to the opera house, went up onto the bridge (wasn't actually worth the effort!)and then we went to bondi for a hot choc! Wasn't a nice day so didn't brave the waves.

Next morning we had to be at the bus stop for 6 am to cath the oz experience! It was a reeeeeeeeeeeeeally long drive on a crap bus to surf camp! The driver was a complete prat, really crude and stuff and he had everyone going up to the front answering stupid qus! Not impressed!! Anyway when we arrived at surf camp it was nearly dark and pissing it down but we still had a surf lesson! It was so much fun..was a bit bruised and battered the next day! Manged to stand up just about but spent most of the lesson just bodyboarding and attempting to knock out the instructor haha! We met two girls and a guty at surf camp who we're now travelling up the coast with. Booking buses was a nightmare..not well organised at all!!

Next day we got the bus to byron bay. Weather was still dodgy so we just wandered around and booked some tours for later in the trip. We were staying somewhere called the arts factoy...we were told we were gettin an upgrade to a private room on the lake..awww! This actually turned out to be a tiny, ant infested shack on the lake! Ah well...wen the sun came out it was all much better!! We spent the next few days lazing on the beach, looking around the shops and generally recovering from the night before. We became regulars at the only bar in byron-cheeky monkeys, was really good fun-you danced on the tables... First night their was a slave auction which we won ($1300 eek!) So we had a slave for the night ;) We also managed to steal the other slave! One day we went on a day trip to nimbin (hippy village), visited a sunday market and some waterfall thing! It was fun!!

Now we're in brisbane..we spent yesterday topping up our tans at a man-made lagoon and then went on a cruise up and down the river for a ridiculously long time! We went clubbing last night with some crazy australian guys which was fun! Today we went shopping coz the weather wasn't too great (still bloody hot though!) and bought rather a lot!!

Tomorrow we have to be up at 6 am again to catch the bus to hervey bay. From here we're going to fraser island on a self-drive tour! Not sure i'll be allowed behind the wheel though!! Hopefully we'll fit in our sky dive if we can get to rainbow beach but theres so much to see and only 3 weeks left its gona b a struggle fitting it all in!!

So just in case we don't update again...after hervey bay we go to some rodeo thing lol in kroombit, then on a whitsundays cruise (our nboat has a hot tub hehe!), after that we stop at magnetic island where theres a full moon party :), then mission beach efore our last stop cairns! In cairns we're planning on doing cape tribulation. And if we have time white water rafting. Then its tokyo before flying all the way home!

So only 3 weeks-ish left now so if we don't get round to it its not long to wait until you can hear all about our trip and look at our millions of pics!
