Very briefly I will give an update of what has been happening the last few weeks. We spent 5 days in Krakow, Poland. Krakow is a lovely city, surrounded by parks and dominated by yet another castle! Whilst there we visited Auschwitz I & II, very moving yet fasinating. We also went to the south of Poland to Zacopane in the Tatra mountains, they are spectacular. Our last trip from Krakow was to an underground salt mine which was fabulous, we walked for about 2 km under the ground which was only 1% of the mine, everything there is solid salt, including the large chapel. We left Krakow by train to go to Prague, Czech Republic. This was an 8 hour trip, Eamon spent the whole night looking out the window. Prague is lovely, however, it is very busy - much busier than 3 years ago when we went there, we only spent 2 nights there, then went to Cesky Krumlov in the south of Czech - this would be our favourite place so far. It is just like a fairytale village - castle, river, cobbled stone streets and quite compared to Prague. We went canoeing down the river there (fell out) and meet lots of great people. We are now back in Ireland, Mum's sister Pauline is staying with us, she is doing a tour up to the north for 3 days then back to the south for the Tullow show on Sunday. Siobhan found a Golden Retriever last week, she was skinny and matted up, we cleaned her and feed her. She stayed with us for almost a week, she has a new home with a family in Tullow their dog recently died and they are thrilled to have her - Siobhan, Eamon, Pauline and I are all pleased she has a new home, but we do miss her. (A few photos will be on the site soon).rnUntil next time keep wellrnBec (& Eamon) xoxo
