Maggie Island....what fun it is there! basically an island in the middle of the ocean that is incredibly relaxed and just amazing. I loved it there! The hostel was a bunch of chalets along the beach. Had a quiet first night and the next day was spent lounging around the pool being a bum. Not a bad life being a traveller! My new friends Claire (england) and Louise and Jens (Denmark) rented a moke car the next day...so fun! it is basically a gocart more or less and we explored the island that way...the girls all took a turn driving...i actually was surprised how well i did considering i dont do manuals and we drive on the opposite side of the road at home! we were laughing so hard we could not catch our breath! stopped at a waterfall and splashed in the water there for a bit...literally had a koala sitting in a tree about 3 feet above us...so cute! met some friends from Cairns that night and had some laughs. up the next morning for more moke driving and more waterfall before boarding the ferry for Airlie Beach where I am now.
