Today has been a very well received day at sea. This is a chance to recover from four days in a row of ports. I slept in until nine and then left David in bed whilst I went to the gym.

Dave joined me after about twenty minutes and, once we had done, went to the horizon buffet for brunch. The seas have admittedly been a bit choppy the last few days and Barbara is suffering somewhat with motion sickness. She is plodding on but it's a shame really. Gary wants me to tell on Barbara by saying she keeps on leaving her main meals but has puddings!! Outrageous.

We are all still talking about the sled ride yesterday....it was epic.

After brunch, Gary David and I attempted the golf putting competition....it did not go well. David did the best of the three of us but we all did quite badly!!

Once we ditched the golf clubs I gave Gary and David a lesson in basketball. I was on top form and beat them in a game of three on three. The level of competitiveness was insane and I am amazed no one broke a limb or three.

Dave and I went back up to the court again later and I beat him again....it doesn't happen often!!

Our energetic morning ended with our own made up rules game of croquet....it was surprisingly good fun and Dave won....which is how most of our competitive games go.

We have taken part in a few quizzes and chilled the rest of the afternoon before getting dressed up in our formal gear and heading to the crown grill for a steak meal. It is the only paid for restaurant we ever bother with on board because it is just so so good.

Now, I am sitting in on another quiz and typing this on my phone as the boys try to guess the song and singer from ridiculously short clips. Music trivia is not really my forte!!

One more port tomorrow followed by one final sea day before we return to Southampton on Saturday.
