Granada Nicaragua.
The coach stopped in a square in Granada and we piled off. Again we were surrounded by street children of all ages trying to sell the various tit bits they were clutching. They went for the heart strings of course.... telling us how hungry they were etc etc. Our guide told us not to believe a word of it lol.
Little little had a rather hair raising moment when one small girl wandered up, pointed at little little and then at herself. I said "no way". The same little girl then tugged on Dave's sleeves....pointed to little little, who was by now cowering in my bag, and again at herself. Dave repeated "no" to her. She then tried to take little little and the guide stepped in and said something to her in Spanish. She scarpered fairly fast and little little peeked back out of the bag.
The museum at Granada was nice...but honestly by this time the heat was so intense we just wanted to get back to the air conditioned coach. People were sweating buckets and I was amazed we didn't lose another passenger to heat stroke or something. It was unbearably hot...
If we could do the trip again, we would probably have cut it short after the wonderful volcano and market. The full day thing in this heat was just a bit too much. Still a very very good day and we were glad we got the coach trip to the more hard to reach areas.
Zip line adventure over the Amazon tomorrow!!! we don't think too many others will be signed up for that...you have to be fit....AND under 19 stone. Should be interesting!

Barbara and gary Your trip to the volcano sounds like a once in a lifetime event. It looks like you will have to put a chain round Little Little as she must be getting famous out there. Waiting for your next report.
Daniel Great, give the monkey to the poor child. Save me getting told off for trying to tale her out into the garden !
Mum Chain? Gasp in horror !
