We have been very lucky with smooth water and beautiful weather so far...but this is our first day at sea, so who knows what to expect? The further south we go, the nicer it's getting...we left the drizzle and cold behind yesterday. Pam and I did several laps around the ship on deck 7 and then had a feast at breakfast. They have smoked salmon and all the fixings, so I am indulging in that. Yum!

We did various activities on board including playing bingo...the guys came with us for moral support and we enjoyed hanging out in spite of not winning. We did some souvenir shopping and watched some movies outdoor--Guardians of the Galaxy, The Edge of Tomorrow. It's nice to just relax.

We ate lunch in the Crown Grill...they were serving their version of Fish & Chips...I actually had shrimp and chips, while Rich enjoyed their Shepard's Pie. All was delicious!

The highlight of our day was dinner, it was our first formal night. This ship takes reservations for anytime dining but you have to call at 8:00 a.m. and they only take a limited amount of reservations, so we haven't been able to make one yet. However, once we get in line, we are seated fairly quickly so it hasn't been a problem. Everyone was all dressed up but some much more than others.

We caught the theater show after dinner and then headed back to our room for the evening.
