Retired & Traveling
We are at sea again today...that's the only bad thing about this trip going out of Houston--you are at sea a bunch of days! Rich likes having a new port every day, he tends to get bored easily. :))
We walked again this morning and then enjoyed our last big breakfast buffet--tomorrow will be a quickie since we are departing early. We have opted to carry off our own luggage so we don't have to set it out tonight, which will be both nice and interesting to see how we do lugging it around.
Pam & I decided we wanted to enjoy a nice lunch in the main dining room, so she & I headed off together and the guys did their own thing. It was a treat to be waited on and we scored a nice window table to boot!
After lunch we headed back to our rooms--I needed to pack and got that chore done quickly.
We played bingo again and Pam & I decided to go in together on our cards so our odds would be better at winning, and it worked! My side of the card bingoed and we won about $545, but 3 other people also won at the same time, so we had to split the pot 4 ways. We still netted $130, which we split and figured it covered our playing the whole trip...so much fun!!
Today was spent doing various ship activities--Pam and I went shopping, each got a new pool coverup and then we just relaxed. Dinner was bittersweet since we knew it was our last evening and it's back to dieting tomorrow. We checked out the pictures that they've taken of us during this cruise, but decided against purchasing any of them.
We headed off to the theater to catch a comedy act, Alfred & Seymour, and it turned out to be the same guys that we had seen on the Ruby Princess while on the Mediterranean cruise!! What are the odds?? The did pretty much the same routine so we didn't think they were as funny as we did the first time we'd seen them, but they were still entertaining. We went up to the 18th deck after the show to check out the Skywalkers Nightclub. It was just before 10:00 at this point and dead as a doornail! We left and said goodnight.
