Uncle! We've officially declared that the RV is too small, waaaayyy too small. I’ve started counting how many times a day I hit my head on the overheads. We have to do the high step over our tray of stuff between the seats. Then it’s a challenge – place left foot behind Molli’s left ear, right foot goes between her front legs and belly, left foot to the left of her... oops, sorry, Molli, didn't mean to step on your tail. With all the extra maps and books, I can’t even find the floor under the front seats. We’re already talking about which RV to get next. Bill keeps looking at all the 36’ monsters surrounding us at the campgrounds and drooling.
So today we got to spend some time at the Springfield Clinic. The diverticulitus started acting up again, so I’m back on antibiotics.
Saw Giant Number 2 and Lincoln’s house. It took so long finding the clinic, getting the drugs, etc that that’s all we could do today. Did the laundry. Our clothes were much dirtier this time. Alright! Belinda, I know what you mean about getting tired of wearing the same clothes all the time. Oh well, that’s roughing it!
It took us two weeks to get to Illinois, and at this pace it’ll take us two weeks to make our way to St. Louis. There’s no way we’ll make it all the way down 66 at this point, not that we care. We’d rather see what we want to see, get up when we want and do whatever than be on a schedule. Maybe I’ll need to take some more time off work. Say, another month? Maybe two, hmmm, 6 sounds good.

laurel glad to hear all your news so far. we leave tomorrow. will email. love, love, love
Brudder Ok. A three-holer. Lincon on the right, Douglas on the left, and the moderator in the middle. Must have produced some great debates there, but where is the rack for reading material and the TP dispenser? Oh, that's right. They didn't invent TP until 1880's. Wonder what they used in Lincoln's days.
wjmccain To Brother McCain: Yes, I saw your entry, laughed, and poo-poo-ed it. Boy, was I wrong. Can't wait till I get back to a place where I don't hit my head on something everytime I turn around.
dana hey, what you need is a 22ft Nash trailer...its like being home. We love ours!
