STATS
Departure: 10:00 AM, Milton, Florida
Arrival: 3:45 PM, Monticello, Florida
Miles: 194 Travel
Time: 5:45 hrs. (time zone changed today)
The Weather Channel called for rain in Florida today, and they were right. We had a short drive today, only about 200 miles, but it took longer than it should have, because I had to stop and inflate the pontoons on the side of the RV. The rain didn't come down in buckets, it came down in 200 gallon drums. Visibility was almost to the windshield. I haven’t seen rain like this since I was a cabin boy for Noah.
It’s still raining now, as we sit here in the KOA outside of Tallahassee. I need to go outside to get Molli’s food from one of the outside compartments, but I’m afraid that I’ll sink into a mud hole. Molli can wait a while to eat, but she keeps looking at me and licking her chops.
I’ll report more tomorrow, if I still have fingers for the keyboard.

Ellen Hartford Well we're having a heat wave here. Up into the 80's through the weekend. We definately have the best weather around.Keep well and enjoy
Patrick Extreme temperature drops and 12" of snow eagerly anticipated in Boulder, CO as we enter the depths of Springtime weather in the West.........anybody want to trade? ;-)
Sharon Wilkes I know California is broke and a fiscal mess but you can't beat it for the beautiful countryside. Rode with the bike group yesterday. Beautiful weather, lots of small ranches in the gold country back roads of Auburn. Saw horses, imus, baby goats, llamas, green pastures and of course beautiful oak trees. Had some 12-14 degree climbs but the downhill was a nice reprieve. Had lunch at Awful Annies (best sandwich I've ever had! To the gym today after trimming the hedge along the pool. Tomorrow will be kayak on a small lake near Mather Air Force base. Keep on Rving. Hope Barb is feeling better. We have had similar DVD issues, maybe all the jostling isn't compatible with our entertainment systems! Loving your blog!
Trish Hi B and B! Loving your blog and fun (and funny!) photos!! So glad Barbara's vertigo 'got up and went' and she's feeling back to normal. Such an uncomfortable feeling. Your description of the rain reminded me of a family trip to Tallahassee when I was a teenager where we swam in the pool in 90 degree weather with rain coming down so hard you couldn't see the other side of the pool! I thought it was cool, my Mom did not...I can now appreciate my Mom's perspective! I'm heading to Maui on May 6 for 2 weeks so will enjoy that 80% humidity feeling where you don't need to bother toweling off after showers! Keep on truckin' and havin' fun, you two!
Shannon Umm...maybe we'll find a hotel, I don't want to sleep in the lake! LOL
