Found fall color in Flagstaff. Nice town. Headed west on old 66. We went through Williams, Seligman, Peach Springs, Hackberry, and into Kingman. And, most exciting of all, just outside of Seligman, we found Burma Shave signs!
We filled out our passport and received our free gifts in Kingman -- a keychain and refrigerator magnet. They even threw in some post cards. Oatman (west of here) is the only town left, but it's a windy road up a mountain with no guard rails and a steep cliff. I have visions of driving through Jerome like we did last year. So we're going to pass that one up.

Interesting tidbits of information. For instance, there are one million ants for every person in the world. I figure if I stomp on 100 a day, I'll have my quota in about 30 years.

Kim LOVE the Burma Shave signs... can remember seeing those as a kid, and competing with my brothers to read them all aloud.
Beverly Wesley Such fun! I always loved the Burma Shave signs.
Brudder Can you even buy Burma Shave any more? I still use a brush, mug and straight razor. Everyone leaves me alone when I am shaving.
