WOW!

What an eventful day!

Well, the start wasn;t, we woke to the sound of rain on our tents and we sighed as we packed them up dripping wet, luckly, I was able to sleep on the coach for most of the day as we made our way into spain!

It was amazing that we crossed the boarder from France in Spain as how different the place was, hazey, hot and very BIG! We went straight to the heart of Barcelona and has a bit of a tour. we saw this AMAZING church, which I have forgotten the name of now, but it was a mix of very modern elements such as fruit monuments and a huge face tree on one of the spires. This was mixed with a super old church style - it was the most magnificant building I have ever seen!

We also got to see a whole lot of museams, the port with GIANT cruise ships in it, plus the Disney Cruise Ship and where the Barcelona Olmpics were held in 1992! Its a very large but interesting city, nothing like anywhere I have seen before!

After checking into our hostel ( YES! a HOstel!) we has time to clean ourselves up before a night out on the town in this party city!"

However, this city does not work like any other nightlife in other countries. Because these guys in spain have a siesta in the middle of the day, most people don't eat dinner until 1030, and clubs don't open until at least 12 am.

so to past the time we all went to dinner at a cute resturant, and had Pattlena - a tradional spainish dish of rice and fish and chicken. It was GREAT! but what was better was half a litre of Sangrita, a spanish drink of half white wine, half red wine, a shot of somthing and LOTS OF SUGAR.

Its one of my new fave drinks! however after all that it was a little hard to walk - but we all did anyway, to a flaminco show, which was super cool! although I don;t remember most of it!

anyway after this our fabulous tour guide had managed to get as a great deal at a nearby bar where we got discounted cocktails and free shots!! ANd us girls got A LOT of extra free shots, so we were more than happy!

After some more dancing we were told we were leaving and got escorted but a really serious looking guy in a suit to a club where not only did we get to skip the que, but we got in for FREE - I love you Carly!

It was the best night club I have ever been too! We danced for ages and belilve me the spainards knew how to party! three stories of different music, cool couches and VIP areas, there were these girls dancing on podumes and strobe light galore.

It was Mosseheads on steriods and was fantastic. ....... until I got robbed

Yes, second huge delimma in my travels. I was wearing a little strappy bag and I was just dancing around and suddenly my bag was open and credit cards and money all over the floor people stepping all over it. I scrambled all over the floor and managed to get the cards, not all the money, but my phone, MY IPHONE we defs gone. so Upset

anyway went home straight after as I was pretty upset. BUt s*** happens and in this case, it wasn2t too bad, atleast it wasn't my passport!
