Today was another chilled day as we drove for most of the day.

we stopped off in a little city called Avignon, which was absolutlely STUNNING.

The little town was once taken over by the pope so it had a HUGE palace church thing in the city surrounded by real old school shops and aprtments. the coolest thing was that the whole town was surrounded by a massive wall - to keep all the bad guys out obviously.

we had a quick walking tour and then were able to wonder around ourselves, which we did for ages. we then had our first real dinner out in France, and guess what I had. An omlette, how original!

anyway we crashed pretty early as the day before was so crazy!
