Nha Trang - Charlie don't surf, but if he did he might come to this town. A seaside resort with a massive beach - lots of old ladies going up and down selling stuff with sob stories of hungry children...i bought some pineapple, but still haggled Am i going to hell?

This was the first real taste of beach holiday in the whole trip - ok, the train journey of 10hrs here from Hoi An was a bit hellish, most of our travel group whiled away the time drinking in the dining car whilst i slept draped across poor Sharan. No escape for her.

Spent a relaxing day on the beach where the sun came out with Sharan, whilst most of the group did a boat tour to the bay - i hear visibility was low for snorkelling. The sea looked a bit too rough to swim from the beach.

Nice restaurants and a more than buzzy nightlife here - hotel had a semi-pornographic tiling pic in the bathroom - what did this place used to be???

Nice food and restaurants, reasonably priced, lots of Italian restaurants? On to Saigon...
