Day 3 - a slightly earlier start than yesterday, in to town for a pancake - yummy. Then took in the Rijksmuseum for a look at some Rembrandts - they are renovating the whole museum and it won't be full re-opened until 2013.
After this culture-stuff, stopped in at an Irish pub where the horse- racing was on - lots of shouting at the telly! Then it was time for a canal cruise which was delightful and tools us around several canals in just over an hour.
For the remainder of the night, had a beer, watched some footy as Barcelona beat Madrid, had a delicious fajita at a mexican restaurant, chilled at a comedy-themed coffeeshop then bed.
Observed that Saturday night was much more lively in town, but not necessarily in a good way. On a side note, was offered hard drugs in the streets at least 5 times!
