once off the ferry it was about 1am so we drove and parked up at the side of the road, that morning we woke up to find us parked looking over a lake havelock. it was stunning. today we were going to drive to the up the coast this we got told was beautifull.

on the way to the gold coast we decided to see if we could find a shower we stoped at a little town called Moutkeua as i was driving i went through a stop sign which i did not see and had the police sitting on the other side of the road watching to make sure people didnt run it. i got pulled over to the police man saying did you know you run a stopped sign i said no i didnt even see it but i did give way and check. but you didnt stop sir. i got handed a ticket. at this point i asked the police to explain a stop sign and why you have to stop. the reply was not great. i asked is their a time piriod to stop and got told no just need to stop to be able to be awear whats around you. my conclution to a stop sign is if you have to stop to relise there is not a car coming you should not be driving but hey. as of this point at every stop sign it was 1 misassipi 2 misassipi 3 misassipi then i can go or even better what me and lynsey decieded is at every stop sign we have to sing the chours to the spice girls stop right now thank you very much i need some body with a human touch. with the windows open the public fort we was mad.

the next day we headed to grey mouth as we was their we used a camps site toilet. due to us not asking we got called thefts or a toilet flush and got threted to have the police called we got held at ransome to $20 dollers which was a joke. the lady of the camp site was i can only explain it evil. due to us being in new zeland and the police having nothing else better to do we decied to pay the evil worman the money. and get the hell out of greymouth as we was leaving their was the mine exspossion. to me and lynsey think dam it for once the police would of had better things to do.

we headed down to queens town on the way we found a veiw over looking the glacias and was amazing we also found a pond with clear water which you could see the bottom of even being about 3 meters deep the water was minral and you could just drink it straight out of the pond.

we stoped at Wanaka for a night and had a duck family for dinner with us in the morning we woke up and went to a place called puzzle world. inside they have ilusion rooms which makes people look bigger and smaller and tilted rooms. their is also the worlds biggest 3D maze which took a good hour and half to finish. we carry on to head to queens town stoping at hasst on the way for a quick lunch before hitting the road again on the way we drove past a place with 3 monster trucks out side and a sign saying only place in the world were you can drive a monster truck after we got 5 miles down the road we descided we cant not do it so turned around.

we pulled up to a barn with no one in it and it was running i went arond the back to find a guy under a car hitting it with a hammer calling it a piece of crap. at this point he went to me i hate cars im ross nice to meet you. ross holds 6 world records for doing stupid things in veicals. he 2 wheeled a tractour for 2.5 hours and drove a monster truck over a 100ft jumps with 3 lorrys in it. he was showin us videos he was crazy. he even showed us a pin which was attached to his leg to to him crashing a mx bike. so we got into the monster truck with a step ladder and it was a old school bus converted into a monster truck we both got to drive around the track and it was so much fun. ross explained how much a truck cost and i nearly fell over when he said it cost £300,000 for one. and then said a enginee only last about 20 hours before it needs to be rebuilt on the show one they use.

we arrived to queens town and checked into a camp site had a nice shower and cooked a spag bowl. we decided to spend 4 days in queen towns the following day we went lunging. lunging is when you go up a hill in a chair lift and go down on a boggon car thing. this was great fun.

the following day we woke up had breakfast and decided to go horse ridding as we got to the stable the weather just got really bad so had to cancel for that day so decided to chill out and go see a film. the next day at the crack of dawn we went hourse ridding around the lake it was really chilled out and fun to just ride along the lake. on the way back from riding we decided to book paragliding for the next day we both have always wanted to do it.

once we was up the top of the hill ready to jump of with a shoot attached to us we was both really excited the wind condistions was top notch and we was both up for over 30 mins and went up to over 4500ft the veiw was great you could see for miles.

we decided after parasailing to hit christchurch due to their not being much else to do in queens town. on the way we stopped and a lake which had mount cook in the back ground. the lake had clear blue water. so we stopped for soup and took in the veiw.

once we got to christ church we went to a hot spa their was over 12 diffrent pools it was so relaxing a good 4 hours chilling out. this was also a great time to also have a shower. we headed back to a place called brighton in christ church and was thinking we got 2 more days and their wasnt much else to do. we went to the supermarket to get some dinner and i decided to pick up a paper. it wasnt untill lynsey was reading it at 9 at night she looked at the date on the top for it to read the 25th she turned to me to say its not the 24th barry its the 25th and are flight leaves tommorow morning. dam it we had 2 weeks of washing to do so at 10pm we found a laundrette and did our washing.
