Hola!

Monday

On Monday after class I went to a brewery near the university and drank their home brewed beer called Moritz. You could see how they make the beer and everything through the glass surrounding the restaraunt. Then GoPro, Mariella, and I decided we would go to the botanical gardens, but of course we got lost and took a totally different adventure. We went up in an elevator to get a beautiful view of the city and then we went to the human body exhibit where we saw real body parts and cadavers being displayed to provide a learning experience. Then GoPro and I went and walked around La Ramblas where we got taken into a bar by a promoter, only to realize through deja vu that we had been taken there another night too! We enjoyed a nice walk home from the bar and found some great scenery including a concrete tree that was used as a pillar on the side of a building. Tuesday

I had my midterm exam in my language class and I got a B! Then GoPro and I went to see a Flamanco show with two dancers and a live Spanish band. The venue was beautiful and the dancing/music was phenomenal. One of the most genuine Spain experiences I've had so far! We found an amazing bar with some really good tapas (appetizers) like nachos and such. Unfortunately we had a run-in with an old man who was really gross but I'll spare the details.

Wednesday

Today after school I went to Park Guell with two girls from class, Amber and Ellie. It was THE hottest day yet but we braved the heat to see the crazy mosaic homes built by Gaudi here in Barcelona. The park was beautiful and I loved seeing the architecture that is totally unlike anything we have in the states! Then GoPro and I went back to our spot from last night to get ladies night half price drinks, and had yet another run-in with said old man and I yelled at him down the street. Just another "typical" day in Barca!
