Well as you can see, we've arrived safe and well and were glad to get out of Jo'burg. Not only was it freezing cold, but the 16ft alarmed barbed wire fences looked a bit threatening too!

Anyway we got out first taste of the Baz Bus yesterday and couldn't get out of Jo'burg quick enough. Around 4 hours later, we arrived in Nelspruit at 'Funky Monkey's' which is great. The bed is the most comfortable one I've slept on in ages and the staff are very frindly. It's exceptionally clean and the beer is approx 85p a bottle! Decent South African wine retails in the bar at about 3 quid a bottle so needless to say, last night we had a very good night!!

We have booked our 2 day safari which leaves at 'stupid o clock' tomorrow morning but looking forward to trying to spot 'the big 5' that everyone goes on about.

First Braai (BBQ) for those of you not called Mel or Kate, consisted of crocodile kebabs! Intersting if not just a bit chewy but all very civilized and chilled out.
