Last blog from NZ!
We are back in Auckland now and have just 1 more night left in NZ. I think we actually peaked a little too late in this country as now we are leaving, we have had a great last few days. The weather definitely seems to have settled down and has been sunny the last few days and what with White water rafting, mud pools, spas and massages the last few days have gone quite quickly.
We were in Tauranga until yesterday afternoon where we meet up with Emmanuelle (from St G) and her husband, Linton who is from NZ. They made us a lovely meal and were very hospitable. The following day we went to Mount Manganui and did a whole lap of the mountain where the views were spectacular. Laura and I also came to the conclusion that Tauranga is definitely the nicest place in NZ and in some ways, wish we had seen more of it as Emmanuelle took us to some lovely places but our flights are booked and we are very excited about Fiji. (By the way, Emmanuelle says to send her love to all at St G.)
We are meeting up with a friend of ours, Naomi, this evening who we met in South Africa so that should be good and hoping to get to the bar in Auckland where it's minus 2 degrees inside and they serve you drinks in ice glasses (but I don't think we'll stay there too long!) and then have a few drinks. Then tomorrow, we just have to drop the motorhome back and get to the airport. Obviously, we are not too sure what kind of internet access we are going to get in Fiji, especially in some of the smaller islands, so we don't know when the next blog will be but keep the messages coming as we love to hear from you all and all the local gossip.
Okey dokey pokey, we'll try and upload the last few pictures now.
Take care and see you all soon,
Jo and Laura xxx
