Wowsers more great food I'm stuffed as a thanksgiving turkey! Today we thought it was about time we went for another run so we did our circuit of part of central park, then got ready and headed down to Madison Square Garden for the Rangers NHL game. We managed to get really great seats thanks to our hotel concierge who had some good broker connections. We chowed down on hot dog, popcorn and beer while we watched a really exciting game between close rivals New York Rangers and the Boston Bruins. The rangers ended up winning 4 to 3, we saw many a played smashed into the glass barriers and three punch-ons which was very entertaining. The crowd went absolutely nuts when a goal was scored or when a fight broke out, it was hilarious. It was almost a full house which really added to the atmosphere although I must say generally the crowd was well behaved especially compared to the Aussies at the cricket and footy! After the hockey we went wandering around soho again, I saw Jennifer Connolly walking down the street, the paparazzi weren't following her, unlike yesterday when we saw two big Chevy Escalades and a big bunch of photographers waiting outside a store for someone to emerge. We made our way over to Momofuku for a super yummy dinner of shrimp and pork buns and ramen with local Coney Island beer. After dinner we felt pretty stuffed so we headed back to times square, grabbed some New York cheesecake from Carnegie deli to go and had dessert back in our room. Tomorrow we head to Brooklyn for exploration and pizza, it's going to be really cold, about 42 degrees F which is damn cold!
