Pottered around the caravan and house today while Gadi went to get new tyres for the car (two of which are being replaced after the wrong PSI tyres were put on in Esperance). In the afternoon we went out to Westfield Shopping Centre to buy a few bits and pieces and stopped to watch the sunset on Cottesloe Beach. Night night xx

Another quiet day at home today enjoying the sunshine and relaxing. Gadi, on the other hand, went out shopping again today to buy a satellite dish as we have found so many places in our travels we are unable to get TV reception (most of WA outside of Perth). My friend and I went out for a bit in the afternoon and we spent the evening playing rummy tiles after eating a lovely homemade dinner of lamb shanks. Night night, sweet dreams xx

Had a lazy home day today enjoying the change in weather and getting some washing and cleaning done. Yes, even small spaces need a good clean out once in a while. Did a big supermarket shop in preparation for the kids flying out and again enjoyed chatting and cooking a chicken and leek risotto for dinner -yum! Very glad that the weather looks like it is getting better as this cold snap is not fun. Night night xx

It's good to be back in Perth - except for this horrid rain. Today it rained on and off and we even had hail and lightning. While I wine twitch my friend to pick up some furniture, Gadi had a few things he needed to do including getting his iPhone repaired, buying new runners and getting a haircut. Decided this morning that we will get to Perth today as the impending rain and storms means there is no point hanging around the beach and we don't want to get stuck or bogged in muddy flats in bad weather. Drove into the nearby town of Lancelin and had a look at the windy, rough surf beaches. We are fish and chips in town and bought some local produce to take to our friend in Perth.
