We went on an amazing adventure today to the tip of the Ayre Peninsula to a place called the Whaler's Way. It's a privately owned piece of land alongside the Port Lincoln National Park that has been held in the same family for many generations. The area was once frequented by whaling ships - hence the name.
It was quite expensive to enter the land ($30 plus a refundable $10 key deposit) as you need to unlock the gate on your way in and out. The drive is through ...
