Getting back and forth in Bangkok can be a bit of a challenge... cabs are dirt cheap, but the constant traffic jam can make for 1-hour cab rides. Tuk-tuk are overpriced, motorbike taxis kinda dangerous, and the Skytrain. - while quick and efficient - does not reach all of the old neighbourhoods yet...
Today we discovered our favourite means of transportation so far: the local express canal boat! Quick, cheaper than cheap, a little bit of an adventure, AND you get to see people's backyards ;)
