Today we all went up the coast to a huge market. It was brilliant and I could have spent an absolute fortune on jewellery and clothes but I restrained and didn't buy anything. I know pretty amazing for me. There were loads of very different stalls and if luggage allowance and money wasn't an issue I would have bought loads.
We then went on to Noosa which is a beautiful area further up the coast. We walked along the edge of the beach and the sea was a perfect turquoise blue. After lunch we had traditional Italian ice cream which was very yummy. We then drive further up the hill and went for a walk along the coast line. The scenery was so amazing and you could have been on some tropical island somewhere with the clear blue sky and crystal blue sea. It was a lovely walk.
This evening we are having fish and chips and I have to try something called a Chicco roll whatever that might be. Then we are watching Pirates and their adventure with scientists. Tomorrow is a chance for a bit of a lazier day. Hope everyone is well and enjoying their summer. Xxxx

Mum We may be enjoying a British summer but it sounds as though the Australian "winter" is much better. I am impressed that you didn't get tempted to buy lots but I suppose you still have two weeks to go. You could always leave some of your clothes there and bring back new ones! However, you would have to choose what to leave which might be difficult for you as I know you find it difficult to throw things away. Anyway you seem to be having a wonderful time. Next week Melbourne and the penguins. Have fun love mum
