Hello!! Well today has been non stop sightseeing. Michelle and I went on the bus into the city this morning (The first time she has ever caught the bus) and did the touristy things. We got off at south bank and walked along the river and into a developed rainforest which is where this Nepal temple is. We then went into the shops - I found Tiffanys but restrained from buying anything. We then went up to the Brisbane museum and went up in the third oldest lift in Australia up the clock tower. You can't see a great deal from there as the tower is surrounded by tower blocks but it was impressive just to be up there. We then went to a museum on the convicts and went for a walk in the Botanical gardens. We then went up on the Brisbane wheel where you can see out over the city which was pretty fantastic. Then we had lunch by the river and walked up to the oldest building in Queensland which is a windmill. Finally we caught the train home. All in all a pretty exhausting day. Tomorrow Michelle is back at work so I might have a more relaxed day shopping. So there we go Brisbane = done. One city down two to go!!! Miss and love you all loads and thanks for all the messages they keep me going. Xxxx
P.s. thanks mum you are amazing. Xxxx

Samantha Hello you, Sounds like you had an amazing first day with lots to do and see. I can see Michelle is planning to keep you busy so you don't get to restless or bored. You can't travel to another city and not buy something from Tiffanys maybe treat yourself in Sydney and you can keep up your current tradition. Have fun, miss you lots too. Can't want to see the photos when you get home. X x. X
Bill Can see a trend here, Tiffany's at the airport, Tiffany's in Brisbane.
Wendy Raymond Oh my gosh that is a lot to fit I but sounds absolutely fantastic. Definitely need to treat yourself at Tiffanys. Glad you're having a good time. W x
Mum Wethought Michelle's itinery was full on but it would appear that the days have started with a whirlwind tour of Brisbane. Maybe you will have time to see the city at a slower pace before you leave. However if you are going to see a city then you need to pack as much sightseeing in as possible - maybe a day at a spa would be a good way to relax that's if Michelle's itinery has left any space just to chill!!!
Nic Holly want to know have you seen a koala yet? Sounds like you are busy with all the site seeing, have fun out there l am sure you have space in your bag for something from tiffanys!
Dan Raymond G'day Sheila glad you are having bonzer time down under.
australian-adventure Well Bill we have just found out that there is a Tiffanys in Melbourne too but we think that $500 each time might break my bank allowance. So I am hoping that I will find the perfect item in Sydney. Sorry Holly haven't seen a koala yet but going to Australia Zoo this weekend so will see if I can find one there. Mum Michelle says they don't really do spa days like we know. But have had a more relaxed day today. Love you all. Xxx
