After leaving Ceduna we travelled through some amazing countryside and coastal regions. This country certainly is vast and varied but still cannot obtain any mobile coverage once you leave Ceduna Sth Aust until you arrive at Eucla in WA. Shame Telstra shame.
Fowlers Bay is a little fishing village with a population of approximately 60 permanent residents and a couple of colourful characters just to keep it interesting.
We spent two nights there with a couple of very enjoyable happy hours with damper thrown in by the young couple who have just taken over the park. The park has been let run down and they have great plans to bring it back to it's oringinal standard.
Fowlers Bay was at one time a very busy port for the area with local produce and fish being shipped out and supplies for the town being shipped in.
The once busy jetty is now a popular fishing spot for locals and visitors alike.
Time came to move on so goodbyes were said to the owners Robyn and Simon and also to Pom one of the colourful characters mentioned and we moved closer to the WA Boarder.
