Left Port Augusta Tuesday morning ( Anzac Day) with light showers on the way to our next stop which was Streaky Bay, passing through Kimba ( the home of the Big Galah). Streaky bay is a very pretty coastal township with an excellent caravan park which is only 9 weeks old with large spaces and great ammenties blocks.
Our site backed right onto the beach and was so relaxing it was hard to move on.
After 4 days of relaxation and exploring the nearby attractions such as the Whistling Rocks, Blow Hole and the Sea Lions (which were only about 50 meters away) we moved on to Ceduna via a short stop for morning tea at Smoky Bay which is another small and fiendly fishing village located about halfway between Sreaky Bay and Ceduna.
We'll stay at Ceduna for a couple of days before heading further west to try our skills at free camping across the Nullabor.
The sunset colours along this part of the coast are something to behold and you would never forget. There are some sunset pictures in the photo section.
