After a great weekend with the Coveney family it was time to head for home with mixed feelings after being away for 5 months, but what a great trip we have had.
Covering approximately 22,000 klms we've seen some spectacular and rugged coastline with sheer cliffs that drop away to the crystal clear water below, dolphins and whales in their natural enviorment, not being coaxed to perform for the tourists, crocodiles just lazing on the banks of the billabongs or perhaps waiting for their opportuinity for an easy meal.
Sunsets which will never be forgotten, and at Carnarvon Gorge, stars on a crystal clear night, walks into some of the gorges with amazing cliffs which make you feel so insignifcant when you look up to their towering heights.
We also met some very interesting fellow traveller along the way, a couple who will remain friends for a long time to come.
But as the saying goes all good things must come to an end (temporarily) and so at home the cleanup must start.
This is the end for this adventure but still so much to see, so as we say "home till next time"
