Ceduna. A town you have to pass through to get to the west. It has a port and it ships out salt, grain and other products. A quiet day here for us before we move again. Really enjoying this life style. Might get home one day.

Moved on from Peterborough this morning with a few showers of rain on the way and arrived safely in Port Augusta. Found Peterborough a very interesting little country town at the cross roads of major highways and steeped in farming and Steam railway history. Day 1 Left home as planned at 0510 hours and had a great trip until south of Moree. Then it was nothing but holdup and traffic chaos due to roadworks. Consequently we when we arrived at Walgett all the free campsites were taken so we had to go on to Coonamble which was almost another 2 hours. Last minute checks of the van have been done and the process of loading has commenced. All should be good for a pre dawn departure on the 18th. Plan to get to Walgett about mid afternoon and have a good nights rest before moving on towards Willcania heading towards the South Australian boarder.
