We have just completed two great days exploring around the area of Cervantes. One of the most impressive sites to see was the Pinnacles Desert in Nambung National Park. Perth WA Have been in Perth and surrounding areas for 9 days seeing some amazing things from the underwater observatory, Rottnest Island, New Norcia, Swan Valley, Perth City and Kings Park. The Underwater observatory is a must to visit displaying all the marine life which is found along the coast of WA. Mandurah. More exploring the area to see what was on offer here. Once again plenty to see so we had to pick and choose what to put on our list. The main thing was to go on a Mandurah Canal cruise to see the dolphins at play as the boat went up all the different canals. Busselton, Geographe Bay WA, where you can walk out on the longest jetty in the Southern Hemisphere. It's 1.8 klms long and at the end there is an underwater observatory which is accessed by an internal spiral staircase. The jetty has a curve built into it so when the new one was built it would meet up with the old jetty. The area set up for the competition is great, with good views and lots of space but when the surfing faithfull are here I guess it would fill up pretty quickly.
