This morning we headed towards Noosa, on the Sunshine Coast.
We stopped along the way at Australia Zoo, which was established by Steve Irwin (of Crocodile Hunter fame), but we decided to give it a miss given that it was incredibly busy there (school holidays) and given the price ($59.00 per person) and given the fact that we would only be there for a couple of hours.
Instead we headed further north to Noosa. Noosa was also very busy, because of the school holidays, but nothing really takes away from such a beautiful place. We had lunch in a lovely cafe on the beach, with gorgeous views. After lunch we went to the beach and sunned ourselves and swam in the ocean -- the water was lovely.
After a quick rinse-off under the showers, we went for a short walk along the coastal path of the Noose National Park, followed by the stunning views of the Laguna Look-out (also part of the Noosa National Park).
Back to Brisbane then, for a lovely dinner at the motel restaurant.
Tomorrow we change motels, going closer to the airport. Last couple of days for Lisanne in Australia.
The weather in Noosa today was a balmy 30 degrees, and we drove just over 300 km today.
